first,here's a short history. Southport Weekender is a yearly music festival that attracts a 6500 capacity crowd to an indoor purpose built holiday complex. Having evolved from it's beginnings as a soul music weekender, the 24 year old event now stands as the most musically diverse music weekender in the U.K. calendar.
